IT'S TIME TO REACH What if the plan is for each of team RWBY to inherit Maiden powers? Each of them aside from Blake has some kind of connection to the current known Maidens and the identity of Summer is still unknown. Ruby and Cinder hold a mutual grudge against each other, Yang is the daughter of the Spring Maiden, and Weiss is the sister of the Winter Maiden. As we've seen this show doesn't tend to pull its punches when it comes to killing off characters, so Winter could die and pass the Winter Maiden mantle along to Weiss, and same with Raven passing Spring along to Yang. Ruby getting Fall was potentially set up by a line that was said back in Volume 3, that it's not uncommon for someone's last thoughts to be of their attacker. As far as Summer goes, it could end up being someone Blake knows or even a Faunus who's tangentially aware of Blake through either the White Fang or Sun, or it could be a similar situation to how Penny got the Winter Maiden's powers, where she happens to be the one who's there at the end of the current Maiden's life I have a lot of thoughts swirling around my head about it, but now that VIZ Media owns RWBY we'll just have to wait and see

I don’t see that anyone else has mentioned it, so I want to point out that Winter summons a house at 14:57 and Schnees can only summon Grimm they’ve killed. So at some point, there was a Grimm house that Winter killed. Somehow. Maybe it was a mimic, or a Geist possessing a building? 16:40 It’s EXTREMELY weird, but I can ice skate better than I can WALK, but I can’t roller skate AT ALL

I this comment is late to the party but it looks to me that yangs eyes do change to red. Its right hard to see but its while she says "she just" during the "Sun saw her go, she just ran" line. Right as shes closing her eyes.

No Joke, I got to be a part of the QnA in their discord after this premiered....and I got to ask a question to Ruby, asking how she was able to weild Crescent Rose (Which is canonically 3x heavier than real sniper rifles) she told me to "Git Gud" Can't believe that happened, and I love that I have that memory now.
